Four Virtual Console Titles Available Now

At 9:00 a.m. this morning, Nintendo released four more games on the Wii Shop channel, including Donkey Kong Country.

The other three games now available for download are New Adventure Island, Streets of Rage and The Legend of Kage. All four new titles fit into the action-adventure theme, bringing the genre to the forefront of the Virtual Console catalog.

The speed with which Nintendo is bringing classic games to the Shop channel for download has made their new console as attractive, if not more so, for the classic titles than for the new games.

The new Virtual Console additions are available now for 500 to 800 Wii points each. 100 points is roughly equal to $1.00.
