Oblivion lead designer hired at Big Huge Games

| 20 Feb 2007 17:56

Ken Rolston, the brilliant mind behind both Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and its more recent sequel Oblivion, has joined Big Huge Games to work on an as-yet unannounced project.

Big Huge Games has a history producing successful Real Time Strategy games such as Rise of Nations and Rise of Legends. Bringing Rolston to the team, a lead designer with 25 years of experience and a knack for making award-winning Role Playing Games, marks a new direction for the company.

Big Huge Games have released few details about the new RPG project, and very little can be gleaned from the press release. In a quote, Rolston describes it as "a new and cunning concept for a console RPG."
