Women In Games International to Hold Game Career Convention

Women in Games International is working with the Savannah College of Art and Design to present a conference called "Advancing Your Career in Game Development."

This conference will be held Thursday, April 26, from 1:00-7:30 p.m., at the River Club on the Savannah College of Art and Design campus, 3 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

WIGI is a non-profit organization that is utilizing this conference as a forum to discuss issues specific to women in the gaming industry. The conference will offer an opening keynote address, panels, roundtable with top experts in the field and a post-convention networking reception.

The keynote speaker will be Jennifer MacLean, General Manager of Games at Comcast Inteactive. Her keynote will cover the importance of communication and the value of diversity and understanding priorities. Panel and roundtable topics include how to break into the gaming industry, game career option, and how to balance work and your personal life.

Registration begins March 1. Student admission is $20, general registration is $30 before March 30 and $50 after March 30.
