Glu to Develop Mobile Age of Empires III Port

Glu Mobile announced plans today at the Game Developers Conference to develop and publish an adaptation of Age of Empires III for mobile devices.

The announcement and subsequent press release say little about plans for the game itself, except that it is slated for release worldwide in 2008. How, exactly, Glu plans to adapt the popular RTS to mobile devices is something for the future to discover.

Earlier this year, Glu released a mobile version of Project Gotham Racing, also a joint project with Microsoft.
