Vancouver Film School AAA Sponsor for "Career Discovery" Event

Career Discovery 1: Careers in the Game Industry is a day-long program being held in Bellvue, Washington at the Interlake Performing Arts Theater on March 24. The event will focus on the challenges and opportunities faced by students interested in beginning a career in gaming.

Now Evergreen Events and the Vancouver Film School are going to sponsor students who cannot afford the fee to attend the event. Stephen Webster, Director of the Vancouver Film School, said "VFS is excited to be a AAA scholarship sponsor for the Career Discovery Group, and we're eager to support the development of future creative minds in the video game industry."

Evergreen Events is actively searching out more sponsors, so everyone who wants to attend their educational events can, regardless of income.

Nine accomplished game developers are slated to speak at Career Discovery 1: Careers in the Game Industry. The cutoff date for early registration is March 9.
