Prima Partners with Atari for Strategy Guides

Atari Inc. and strategy guide publisher Prima Games ink exclusivity deal.

Prima Games, a publishing division of Random House, has become the exclusive publisher of video game guides for Atari in 2007. Planned releases include Bullet Witch, Alone in the Dark, Godzilla: Unleashed and various Dragon Ball Z titles.

Debra Kempker, President of Prima Games, commented on the deal. "Prima is excited to be working with Atari as its exclusive game guide publisher. With Alone in the Dark and Godzilla: Unleashed scheduled for release this year, Atari has two of the most anticipated games of the year."

Steve Tucker, director of marketing and operations at Atari, sees Prima as leader in its industry. "Prima is a leader in the strategy guide category and produces informative, detailed and quality guides that complement our games. We are constantly looking for partners that will deliver the best for our gamers, and reaffirm our commitment to consumers."
