Majesco Appoints New Board Member

Allan Grafman of Mercury Capital Partners joins Majesco's board.

Majesco Entertainment Co. (COOL) has appointed Allan Grafman to be its sixth member on the company's board of directors. Shares of Majesco closed at $1.56, up 6.85 percent for the day.

Most recently, Grafman has served as President of All Media Ventures and an operating partner of private equity firm Mercury Capital Partners since 2005. For 13 years, he was Vice President at Tribune Entertainment. Further media experience includes a position as president at Archie Comic Entertainment and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Hallmark Entertainment.

Jesse Sutton, Majesco's interim chief executive officer, commented on the addition of a new director. "We are thrilled about the addition of Allan to our board. With over 30 years of experience leading content, media and communications companies, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the Majesco board. We are fortunate to gain the benefit of Allan's expertise in mass market entertainment franchises and the rapidly growing interactive media space to help guide us in the execution of our strategic goals."
