| 16 Apr 2007 14:30

Blizzard Entertainment announces a second Blizzcon convention for August.

After taking a year hiatus since its inception in 2005, Blizzard Entertainment (World of Warcraft) will be hosting the second Blizzcon convention at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California on August 3 and 4. Tickets will be available for ages 4 and up at the price of $100 per person next month on the Blizzcon website. Blizzcon will feature developer panels, game signings, tournaments, World of Warcraft trading card game competitions, live musical performances of Blizzard music and further interactive events for attendees.

President and Co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment Mike Morhaime commented on the return of Blizzcon. "We were gratified by the response to our first BlizzCon in 2005 and have been looking for an opportunity to hold a follow-up event ever since. With BlizzCon 2007, we plan to deliver another entertaining and informative experience for the attendees, and we look forward to meeting all of them again this year."
