The Human Head Studios building burns in a Madison, Wisconsin fire.

Firefighters in Madison, Wisconsin were called last Friday at about 2:30 a.m. regarding a blazing fire at a building located in the 1700 block of Commercial Avenue. The old railroad roundhouse held the offices of game developer Human Head Studios, among other companies. Reports state that the fire began in a storage area in the back of the building and continued to spread higher, eventually burning through the roof. Total damage cost is estimated at about $750,000.

Bruce Bosben, a real estate proprietor who shared the building with Human Head, commented, "Fortunately all of our file cabinets and servers are up at the front of the building and the fire was contained in the back. We were very fortunate. I was a nervous wreck on my drive here thinking about that."

Whether Human Head's offices were affected by the flames has not been confirmed.
