Games Media Acquires WiredLabs

Competition host Games Media Properties purchases an internet media firm.

Games Media Properties, the host of the World Series of Video Games, has acquired online game media firm WiredLabs for an undisclosed sum. WiredLabs's portfolio includes the Amped News/Gamer 2.0 gaming news networks, GameSentry game servers and GameFlex, a free online service that combines gaming websites and news into one easy-to-manage interface for die-hard gamers. Further details surrounding the acquisition have not been revealed.
