New Xbox Expo Enters as X07 Exits

Microsoft launches a new gathering for Europe following the cancellation of the X0 shows.

After news hit that Microsoft cancelled its annual X07 expo this year, Microsoft responded by announcing a new conference to be held in London, England. Although no date has been set, it has been confirmed that it will occur sometime before this Christmas.

A spokesperson explained to GamesIndustry.biz, "X07 is not going ahead. We're looking at doing something here in the U.K. It will be from a U.K. point of view, not from a European point of view."

No explanation for why the old X0 series was canceled has been given.
