| 27 Jul 2007 17:38

Sky and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe are partnering up to bring the service to PSP users.

Sony's European division announced that it has formed a joint venture company with entertainment distribution service company Sky to bring on-demand video to the PSP gaming device.

While discussions for broader Europe are ongoing, the project will begin with video content for the 2.3 million PSP owners in Britain and Ireland.

Other details were sparse but will reportedly be provided at the Leipzig Games Convention on August 22.

Sky currently offers downloads of movies, shows and sports on-demand to the PC, TV and mobile phones.
