A $350 PS3? Sort of.

| 17 Aug 2007 20:20

There's a $350 PS3 for sale - but only for those who qualify for and grab a Sony-branded credit card.

Applicants who are approved for the cards receive a $150 rebate for any item sold at the online Sony Style boutique.

The $500 60GB PS3, soon to be phased out in favor of the 80GB model (currently priced at $600), is available for sale at the store. Unlike its replacement, the 60GB version features PS2 hardware to run backward compatibility.

The deal is only available to U.S. residents, and rebates for the $150 award are supposed to arrive in two to three months.
