BioWare Ranks as Top Employer in Canada

The Canadian Financial Post honors BioWare for being an excellent employer.

BioWare, who has previously ranked in the top 100 of Canada's places to work three times, has broken into the Financial Post's "10 Best Companies to Work For" list. Due to its acquisition by Electronic Arts, this will likely be the last year Bioware will be eligible for the list.

BioWare co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Ray Muzyka said, "At BioWare, we have always valued our people, and one of our core values is to provide an environment that offers quality in the workplace and promotes creativity. This is why BioWare has attracted employees who come from all over the world."

Financial Post's list includes companies "who offer the most progressive and forward-thinking programs," and is compiled from thousands of submissions for Canadian companies in a variety of industries, and ranks them based on employment practices, such as salaries and benefits.
