Red Mile Entertainment has licensed Epic's Unreal Engine 3 for use in its upcoming Sin City videogame.

The company announced earlier in 2007 that it had entered into a multi-year deal to publish games based on the Sin City comics by Frank Miller, and later that it had enlisted the services of industry veteran Flint Dille for design, scriptwriting, story and production duties on the game, but no other details about the game have been released.

"The Unreal Engine is one of the most technically advanced engines on the market and is a perfect fit for our Sin City videogames," said Red Mile President Glenn Wong. "The engine has powered several of the best-selling games of all time and I am very glad we have the opportunity to arm our developers with such a world-class product."

Epic Vice President Mark Rein added, "We're extremely excited to be working with Red Mile. We have been Frank Miller/Sin City fans for a long time and are pleased that our technology will be a key factor, and we're confident that they're going to make a great game with it."
