Vivendi Teams up with Nokia

| 9 Jan 2008 15:35

Vivendi Universal is putting its Games Mobile division through the paces, preparing a number of games and features for Nokia handsets.

Slated for release on the platform are some franchises familiar to gamers, including Spyro, Leisure Suit Larry and Crash Bandicoot.

Accompanying ringtones and wallpaper will also be produced.

The items will be downloadable through Nokia's download center.

Speaking of the move, Vivendi Games Mobile President Paul Maglione said, "The challenge in the mobile games value chain is not only to make great games and attract customers, but also in the effective merchandising of games and the ease with which consumers can find, purchase, and download games," going on to praise Nokia for meeting this challenge.
