I know I left some of you hanging, waiting on the story of the CCP party and maybe some actual work-related articles from GDC 2008. All I know is that I started feeling like one of the characters in Stephen King's The Stand that didn't make it out of the first 5 chapters on Sunday.
It got much worse. Like the characters in the book, I did start seeing things and speaking in tongues. Specifically on Monday night, I opened my eyes and thought I was laying on the floor of a medieval cathedral with high, stone arches and stained-glass windows. Someone special was there to bring me chicken soup and orange juice and I remember saying out loud, "Death is the sad truth of life. You have saved me."
I'm feeling much better now and will be back to normal starting next week.
I'm dying.
You're not dying, you just can't think of anything good to do.
