GGL Announces $40,000 Soulstorm Tournament

Registration for the GGL's Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Soulstorm tournament opened today, giving fans of the series their shot at an overall prize purse valued at $40,000.

Players can register anytime over the course of the tournament, which will run until April 13. The tournament will run in a 1v1 ladder format, allowing players to join in at any time. The top player at the end of the tournament will receive a Dell XPS M1530, along with a limited edition, hand-numbered artwork from the new Soulstorm expansion to the Dawn of War series of videogames. The second place finisher will win an Nvidia 8800 GT video card and a selection of Creative Labs hardware, including a Zen MP3 player, X-Fi XtremeGamer sound card, Inspire T6100 speakers and more.

Scheduled for release in the U.S. on March 5, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Soulstorm is the third and final expansion to the Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War RTS franchise. More information is available at warhammer.ggl.com.
