Sierra has unveiled a free two-week trial version of the award-winning action-strategy game World in Conflict.

The trial version of the game is available for download from FilePlanet beginning today. Gamers will be given full access to all of World in Conflict's multiplayer features, including maps, modes, weapons and other features. As part of the World in Conflict online community, trial version players will have unrestricted access to the same intense gameplay as owners of the full version.

Developed by Sierra studio Massive Entertainment, World in Conflict takes place in a world which never saw the end of the Cold War. As its empire teeters on the brink of collapse, the Soviet Union unleashes its might against Europe, prompting NATO retaliation - and leading to a surprise invasion of the United States itself.

Sierra will also be holding draws for free, permanent World in Conflict multiplayer accounts for anyone playing the trial version on any Sunday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. PST. More information and download links are available at worldinconflict.com.
