Ikaruga En Route for Xbox LIVE

| 7 Apr 2008 16:33

Japanese arcade sensation Ikaruga is coming soon to Xbox Live Arcade.

The game is described by Microsoft as "a fast-paced scrolling shooter with a twist," with players managing their ships polarity to deal out and avoid damage.

It will feature two-player co-operative play locally and over Xbox Live. There is also a slow-motion training mode for novices.

The key to success for veteran players will be learning the chaining system to rack up bonus points. Helping along the learning process will be a recording/playback feature.

The game will cost 800 MS Points and will be available on April 9.
