Golf MMOG Maker Co-Sponsors Breast Cancer Fundraiser

| 9 Apr 2008 19:50

MMOG company OGPlanet has partnered with a nonprofit to announce a cancer research fund raising program.

Starting tomorrow, players of Albatross18, a golfing game set in a fantasy universe, can buy "Pink Ribbon Face Paint" for their characters at $2.50 per job. $2 will go to Support Boarding for Breast Cancer, which supports cancer research and raises awareness.

"We're honored to be working with B4BC," said Don Choi, COO of OGPlanet. "It's a truly remarkable organization, with its focus on raising cancer awareness and promoting healthy, active lifestyles among young people. We know the members of the OGPlanet community will rise to the occasion to support this tremendously important cause."

The program will be accessible through the in-game store and will last until April 30.
