Two Classics Coming to Wii Shop

| 15 Apr 2008 14:05

Two side-scrolling classics are landing on the Nintendo Wii Shop Channel today.

Fantasy Zone, originally from the Sega Master System, has you flying a ship and using its guns and bombs to take out regular baddies followed by end-level bosses. There's also a shop to upgrade ship weapons. The game supports up to two players and costs 500 Wii Points.

Next up is Mega Turrican, where you play as the last survivor oppressed by a tyrannical regime whose goal is to singlehandedly defeat the bad guys. Weapons and power-ups, available through the suit, are at the player's disposal across 15 levels. The title is one-player only and costs 800 Wii Points.
