Penny Arcade Takes Xbox Live Arcade By Storm

Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness enjoyed the third most successful launch in the Xbox Live Arcade's history.

The game's premiere episode was downloaded 16,500 times in its first three days of release, placing it just behind Rez HD's 25,000 units and Ikaruga's 22,500 downloads.

It's worth noting, however, that at 1,600 Microsoft Points ($20), Adventures costs twice as much as either Rez or Ikaruga, and therefore brought in more revenue than either title.
