Super Mario Bros. 2 Unplugged

The Department of Random Cool Stuff brings you this video of Adrian Holovaty, a talented guitarist who does one mighty fine rendition of Super Mario Bros. 2 music on his acoustic guitar.

The trouble with this sort of thing is that the headline pretty much says it all, and I'm left with space to fill and not much to work with. I was considering making a crack about the difference between playing guitar and playing Guitar Hero, but it felt cheap and opportunistic so I decided to pass. Instead, I will note that along with his mad guitar skillz, Holovaty is also a lead developer on the Django open source Web framework who, according to growabrain, was inspired to create this unplugged rendition of the Super Mario Bros. 2 level one theme by VGMix.com, a website dedicated to amateur arrangements and remixed of videogame music.
