A Week Of Free Xbox Live Gold For Lost And Damned Players

Microsoft is marking the release of Grand Theft Auto: The Lost and Damned DLC by offering a week of free Xbox Live Gold multiplayer support for playing Grand Theft Auto IV.

The first-of-its-kind event begins at 9:00 am PST on February 17 and runs until midnight on February 22. As part of the promotion, Rockstar and Microsoft will be holding special events throughout the week, including a "Game With Fame" competition featuring hip hop DJ and producer Statik Selektah, a "Game With Rockstar" multiplayer event with the guys who made the game, an "Xbox All-Nighter," sweepstakes promotions and other activities.

The Lost and Damned is the first DLC released for Rockstar's hit crime drama Grand Theft Auto IV, and will be available exclusively over Xbox Live for 1600 Microsoft Points (that's twenty bucks in real money) beginning February 17.
