The Escapist community was quick and clever, but in the end, there could be only one Pony Badge winner.
It took just a few hours for you Escapists to deduce that the Dead Guy in the Envelope was Rube Goldberg. Though he won the Pulitzer Prize for his editorial cartoons, Goldberg is best known for his cartoons featuring the bizarre, overly complex contraptions that would eventually come to bear his name. Rube Goldberg machines are regularly featured in commercials, are a favorite of the Mythbusters, and even inspired the game Mousetrap.
