BioWare is a Canadian video and engine developer consisting of four studios: BioWare Edmonton, BioWare Austin, BioWare Mythic, and BioWare Montreal. BioWare has developed for several platforms including Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. Its notable roleplaying franchises include Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age. Bioware's Infinity and Aurora Engines have been used by players and other developers to create mods and roleplaying games.
