The Creative Assembly is a British videogame developer that started to port games to the DOS platform. It is best known for its Total War videogame series, but has also developed the RTS game Stormrise. It has developed mainly for Microsoft Windows, but has also developed for consoles, including PlayStation 2, GameCube, and Xbox. It was acquired by Sega in March 2005.
