Age of Empires IV Details to Debut at Franchise Fan Preview Event in April

Age of Empires is getting a special presentation next month that will celebrate the real-time strategy franchise’s history and unveil more information about Age of Empires IV, Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, and Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition. A blog post on the series’s website offers more information about the Age of Empires: Fan Preview broadcast, which is currently set to premiere at 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET on April 10. Microsoft and developer Relic Entertainment will kick off festivities with the half-hour show, and a “limited-time digital experience” will take place on AgeofEmpires.com throughout the following week.

As far as what to expect regarding Age of Empires IV, there will be a new look at gameplay, civilizations, campaigns, and more during the Fan Preview. Regarding Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition and Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition, the post only says that “some exciting news” will be shared.
