All Medallions in Fortnite and How to Get Them

Here's a list of all the Mdallions you will find during the Fortnite Star Wars season.

Medallions give your character and weapons moderate, yet game-changing buffs in Fortnite.

Introduced back in Chapter Five, season one, these Medallions are some of the most sought-after objects on the island. However, there’s a catch, as picking up one highlights your location on the map for everyone. The accuracy of your location on the map increases with the number of Medallions you carry.

Where to Find All Medallions in Fortnite

For now, there are just two Medallions that you will find on the island during the Star Wars season, which are as follows:

How to Get the Blaster Medallion

To get the Blaster Medallion, make your way to the First Order Base and challenge Captain Phasma to a duel. You’ll find her loitering near the Hangar, accompanied by her Stormtrooper Guards.

The easiest way to deal with this boss is by eliminating her guards first. Engage the boss only after you’ve taken care of the Stormtroopers around her. Captain Phasma has around 600 HP, so defeating her won’t be difficult. But watch out for her grenades because those deal considerable AoE damage.

With the Blaster Medallion equipped, every Blaster weapon you have gets reduced cooldowns. It’ll also take longer for these weapons to heat up, so you can remain in engagements for a longer time.

How to Get the Super Shield Medallion

With Darth Vader hijacking Shogun X’s spot on the Fortnite map during the Star Wars season, the latter was forced to relocate to a more elusive place. The floating loot island is where you’ll find Shogun X right now.

You’ll have to survive the first four storm circles in a match to get to this island. Once you’ve reached that point, a marker should appear on your map, showing that the loot island has spawned. When you approach the marker, you should see a column of wind rising upwards. Head into this column, and you’ll be taken to Shogun X’s arena on the loot island.

This boss is tankier than Captain Phasma, so make sure you have a good set of weapons on you. The only way to defeat Shogun X in Fortnite is by keeping the pressure on him and dodging his attacks. He has three basic attacks:

  • A huge sword swipe
  • Launches a group of three projectiles at you
  • Raises his fist in the air and rains projectiles in a tight circle.

He also keeps dodging around the arena, so you’ll have to have your head on a swivel. Once you’ve depleted his health bar, he’ll vanish from the map, and you’ll get the loot he drops.

With the Super Shield Bubble Medallion equipped, you’ll automatically deploy a Shield Bubble Jr. whenever you heal yourself with a medikit or even a bandage. This is very important during the endgame because healing without interruption can be a pain, especially when the circle is small.

Unfortunately, just one copy of each Medallion is available on the Fortnite island at any given time. If someone defeats the boss before you, you’ll have to defeat the enemy player carrying the Medallion to use it yourself.
