Here are the best Anime Saga traits and how to farm them.

Once you get past the Common, Rare, and Epic traits in Anime Saga Roblox, you’ll notice that not all Legendary and Mythical traits are equal. I’m here to show you the best traits in the game for bosses and raid farming. Here’s my Anime Saga Trait tier list.

Best Trait in Anime Saga

The best traits in Anime Saga Roblox are those that will help you in the boss fight. Bosses deal a lot of damage so the faster you can kill them or the better you can tank/dodge/sustain through their moves, the better the trait. You’ll notice that the higher units either offer amazing damage boosts or defensive and healing potential. Never reroll S-Tier and A-Tier Traits and I wouldn’t reroll B-Tier ones unless you have a lot of rerolls left to try for S and A traits. Lastly, there are no noticeable combos so each S and A Tier trait is amazing on all units. Check out the ranking reasons for each trait below.

S-Tier Anime Saga Traits

TraitBonusesRanking Explanation

Doombringer
Godly (0.1% Roll Chance)
• +50% Critical Hit Chance (1.5x Damage)
• Gain +1% Damage per enemy defeated (Resets each mission)
• Gain -40% Damage Taken & +60% Damage & Lower Cooldowns by -25% when your HP is below 40%
Doombringer is the best Trait in Anime Saga but hard to get. The reason it’s the best is that there are usually 30 to 40 enemies in a level or more before you get to the boss. This means you’re getting a ~40% damage increase with a 50% critical chance of 1.5x damage. That’s already insane by itself but this is also further boosted when below 40% so I would aim to be around that HP value for insane DPS.

Warlord
Mythical (0.3% Roll Chance)
• Every 10 seconds generates Super Armor (Damage Immunity) that lasts for 3 seconds
• -15% Damage Taken
• +20% Damage
• -10% SP Consumption
Now Warlord doesn’t give as much DPS as Doombringer, not even close, but it helps you tank bosses so you don’t have to dodge and can continue dealing damage. Basically, you can dodge boss attacks with Q, an ability that allows you to fly into the air, and the Super Armor from Warlord which makes you invulnerable. This means you should play around the 10-second Super Armor and not run away from the boss when it procs so that you can continue dealing damage without backing off.

This not only helps you survive the boss fight better but gives you more opportunities to deal damage.

Overlord
Legendary (2% Roll Chance)
• Gain 1% Damage per enemy defeated (Resets each mission)
• Restore 20% HP on kill
Overlord piggybacks off of Doombringer’s damage stacking buff which is crazy strong. You’re looking at around 30% to 50% damage increase per mission. The heal-on-kill part is nice to sustain you throughout the level too. Overall, the best Legendary trait in the game and one of the best ones overall.

A-Tier Anime Saga Traits

TraitBonusesRanking Explanation

Abyssal
Mythical (0.8% Roll Chance)
• +20% HP
• +15% Damage
• Restore 40% HP on kill
• +10% Critical Hit Chance (x1.5 Damage)
Abyssal is a weaker DPS trait than Doombringer and Overlord but still okay to get. Besides the HP boost, you’re getting an okay damage boost and one in ten hits on average gets 50% increased damage. When combined with a nice sustain healing on kills, it’s a decent trait, just not as OP as S-Tier. Note that the heal-on-kill part is useless in boss fights.

Bloodlord
Mythical (0.6% Roll Chance)
• Gain Lifesteal (Heal for 1.5% damage dealt)
• Restore 10% HP on kill
• Lifesteal increases to 4% when your HP is below 30%
Now Bloodlord is interesting because it actually allows you to heal in boss fights unlike Abyssal and Overlord. The Lifesteal is a hugely powerful mechanic for boss fights because you can leave the health potions to your allies since you sustain yourself. And if you drop to 30% or below the healing almost triples. Amazing on characters who can multi-hit enemies.

B-Tier Anime Saga Traits

TraitBonusesRanking Explanation

Draconic
Legendary (3% Roll Chance)
• +15% Damage
• -40% SP Consumption & +10% Damage when your HP is below 30%
Draconic at its best is a 25% damage boost with some of the best reduction in SP Consumption. The trick is that you have to be below 30% HP which is high risk but low reward with the Draconic trait. Overall, a mid-tier damage boost that I would reroll for A or S-Tiers once you can.

Colossus
Legendary (1.8% Roll Chance)
• +20% HP
• -15% Damage Taken
• Every 15 seconds generates Super Armor (Damage Immunity) that lasts for 3 seconds
Colossus does a similar thing to Warlord where you can tank bosses with Super Armor to deal damage in situations where you would usually have to back away. That said, it does this job way worse since the Super Armor cooldown is 5 seconds longer and you don’t get a damage boost like with Warlord.

C-Tier Anime Saga Traits

TraitBonusesRanking Explanation

Endurance III
Epic (8% Roll Chance)
• +12% HP
• +12% Damage
Endurance III is the best trait in Anime Saga among the Common, Rare, and Epic ones and it also outclasses some Legendaries like Phantom and definitely Celestial. If you get it and you don’t have a lot of trait rerolls left, keep it. A nice 12% damage boost isn’t bad at all if you can’t get anything better.

Guardian III
Epic (8% Roll Chance)
• -12% Damage Taken
• +15% HP
Worse than Endurance but okay for beginners if you’re taking a lot of damage from bosses.

Phantom
Legendary (4% Roll Chance)
• -20% SP Consumption
• Lowers Cooldowns by -12%
• +10% Critical Hit Chance (x1.2 Damage)
Phantom does lower your cooldowns by 12% but the SP Consumption reduction isn’t anything amazing for most units. And the critical chance is nice but you’re looking at a 20% damage boost on one hit in ten on average. You’d be mathematically better off with Endurance that gives you 12% increased damage on all ten of those hits.

D-Tier Anime Saga Traits

TraitBonusesRanking Explanation

Swiftness III
Epic (8% Roll Chance)
• -9% SP Consumption
• Lowers Cooldowns by -9%
Good for beginners on some heroes that use a lot of SP but otherwise it’s an auto reroll for me.

Celestial
Mythical (1% Roll Chance)
• Heals nearby allies for 3% HP every 15 seconds
• -25% Damage Taken when your HP is below 30%
Celestial might be okay when playing in a large group but the healing is overall really weak and the damage taken reduction is very risky for no great benefit. However, the biggest problem with Celestial which I hate is that some players aim to stay at a certain percentage of HP to activate traits like Doombringer or Draconic. Celestial can accidentally disable these traits by healing them. Your teammates will hate you when this happens. Just reroll this until it gets a huge buff.
Common Traits & Rare Traits/The Endurance II and Guardian II are okay if you’re starting out and have no rerolls left but I would reroll these as soon as you get more rerolls.

How to Farm Trait Rerolls in Anime Saga

Here are all methods for getting Trait Rerolls in Anime Saga with my advice on the best farming method:

  • Codes: Our Anime Saga Codes will give you tons of Trait Rerolls for free so check them out.
  • AFK Room: Go to the AFK Room and you’ll get 2 Trait Rerolls per 2 hours spent in there. Use the AFK room whenever you’re not playing or over night to farm Trait Rerolls.
  • Raid Shop: You can farm Raids for resources and spend them at the Raid Shop for Trait Rerolls. You need to be Level 25+ to access Raids.
  • Shop: Hit F and scroll down to the Trait Reroll section where you can buy them for Robux. I wouldn’t recommend this since it’s not worth it. Just farm them with AFK and Raids.

That’s it for my guide on the Anime Saga Trait tier list. Check out our Anime Saga Unit Tier List next. Don’t forget to check out our Anime Saga Wiki for info on everything in the game from units to items.
