A fact sheet posted on the game’s website offers a laundry list of details for the test, including information on the four beta specialists. Webster Mackay, for example, is a quick-moving Canadian soldier with a grappling hook, while Maria Falck brings medical expertise picked up in the German army. There’s also Pyotr “Boris” Guskovsky, a Russian operative equipped with an SG-36 sentry gun, and Wikus “Casper” Van Daele, a recon agent who hails from South Africa. The page also includes all the finer details on spec requirements for PC players.

Battlefield 2042 was originally set to launch on October 22 before a recent delay from DICE and EA pushed the release date to November 19. You’ll be able to pick up the campaign-less Battlefield entry for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S, but until then, you can see a trailer for the upcoming beta test below.
