Nintendo announced the update, which includes the highly anticipated Tourney Mode, earlier today.
Last month Nintendo revealed three new DLC characters for Super Smash Bros.: Lucas from Mother 3, Roy from Fire Emblem, and Ryu from Street Fighter . Now we have learned that the fighting game will be getting a hefty free update, scheduled to hit on July 31.
On Facebook this morning the game’s official account revealed details for the upcoming update for Super Smash Bros.
The update for the Wii U version is going to include the option to post replay uploads to YouTube along with the highly anticipated Tourney Mode. Both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game will add paid DLCs of new Mii Fighter costumes in addition to new stages.
The Nintendo UK Twitter account also confirmed these updates.
