Best Landing Zones in Fortnite Star Wars Galactic Battle

If you’re looking to secure a Victory Royale in Fortnite Star Wars Galactic Battle, you’ll need to ensure that you’re landing at a proper spot. Survival without appropriate loot is difficult, especially during the early game. 

The island is large, and there are a lot of spots where you can land, but if you’re not comfortable taking gunfights, you’ll need to land in zones that aren’t hot drops. And you can find chests all over the island, certain areas have a higher concentration, which directly translates to more loot, if you get to it first. 

Best POIs and Landmarks to Land At in Fortnite Star Wars Galactic Battle 

Resistance Base

Located on the northwestern part of the map, this place is where you will find 29 chests in close vicinity. You’re also bound to come across the Rey holograms here, which will help you pick up the Blue Lightsaber. You’ll also find the X-Wing fighter here, making it a nice spot to rotate out of if you are surrounded by enemy loopers. 

Kappa Kappa Factory

Kappa Kappa Factory is located on the eastern shore of the island. This area has a lot of cover and is the perfect place to get all your equipment in order. There are around 44 chests that have enough weapons and items to outfit your entire team, if you’re playing in a squad that is. The place is also devoid of too many hostile NPCs, making it a safe spot to land. 

Seaport City

Seaport City has a total of 70 chests, which is the highest amongst all the POIs on the island. It’s a good place to start out and pick up weapons for you and your team. There are many major roads leading into and out of the POI, so you should find a lot of vehicles scattered around the area. Moreover, it’s close to the centre of the map, so unless the zone is towards one of the edges, you won’t have to move around too much. 

Placid Paddies

No one likes to land here since it’s located on the farthest corner of the map. However, the landmark has high chest density and is by far the safest place to land. The only drawback is that unless the zone is towards the northern side of the island, you’ll have to travel a lot. Thankfully, you’ll find a lot of cars here, so rotation is moderately easy. If you enjoy playing it safe, this is the best place to start. 

Shining Span 

Shining Span is a big bridge that you will find on the eastern side of Fortnite island. It has a decent number of chests and is open on all sides. Since it’s towards the edge of the map, you’ll not find many players, especially during the early game. It’s a nice vantage point and can let you pick enemies from far if you have a sniper. However, it also leaves you exposed, so you shouldn’t linger around here too long. There’s a water body under the bridge, so you can also move away to safety. 

While these are the best landing spots in the Fortnite Star Wars Galactic Battle, they might not always be ideal in every situation. At the start of each match, you’ll see a large arrow indicating the Battle Bus route across the island. For the best chance at quickly grabbing loot, land at a landmark close to that route.
