BioWare and Electronic Arts have announced that Bring Down the Sky, the first downloadable content for the award-winning RPG Mass Effect, will be free for the PC release of the game.
The first in a series of planned new material for Mass Effect, Bring Down the Sky adds roughly 90 minutes of gameplay, a new soundtrack, an uncharted world and the deadly Batarian race. Like Mass Effect, Bring Down the Sky has been fully optimized to take advantage of the PC’s graphical capabilities, controls and more.
Mass Effect has earned over 80 awards since its original launch in November 2007 for the Xbox 360, including Best RPG from the Spike TV Video Game Awards and IGN. The PC version of Bring Down the Sky DLC will be available free of charge to registered BioWare community members when Mass Effect for the PC launches on May 28 in North America and June 6 in Europe.
