Der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.studio-397.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rFactor 2 und Le Mans Ultimate Entwickler<\/a> ist damit endg\u00fcltig unter dem Dach des Publishers angekommen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ein Deal mit langer Vorgeschichte<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00e4rz 2021 war der offizielle Startschuss. Damals verk\u00fcndeten Luminis International B.V. und Technology In Business B.V., dass Motorsport Games ihr Studio 397 \u00fcbernimmt. Soweit die Theorie. In der Praxis blieb ein Teil der Kaufsumme offen &#8211; und das sollte sich ziehen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Motorsport Games hatte in den folgenden Jahren bekannterma\u00dfen mit finanziellen Problemen zu k\u00e4mpfen. Zwar geh\u00f6rte Studio 397 offiziell dazu, inklusive der hauseigenen isiMotor 2.5 Technologie, die rFactor 2 und Le Mans Ultimate antreibt. Aber richtig besitzen konnte man nur, was auch bezahlt war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>750.000 Dollar in f\u00fcnf Raten<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Februar 2025, etwa ein Jahr nach dem Early Access Start von Le Mans Ultimate, hatte Motorsport Games endlich genug Geld auf dem Konto. Ein Ratenzahlungsplan mit Luminis wurde vereinbart: f\u00fcnf Raten, insgesamt 750.000 Dollar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CEO Stephen Hood best\u00e4tigte im Q2 2025 Earnings Call, dass alle Zahlungen abgeschlossen sind. Nach vier Jahren ist der Deal damit durch. Seine Worte: &#8220;Anfang Juli haben wir den Restbetrag f\u00fcr Studio 397 beglichen. Das Unternehmen hat jetzt die vollst\u00e4ndige Kontrolle \u00fcber die Technologie und das geistige Eigentum. Es werden keine weiteren Zahlungen f\u00e4llig.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Was das f\u00fcr Le Mans Ultimate bedeutet<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Zahlen von Motorsport Games sehen inzwischen besser aus. Q2 2025 brachte 4,3 Millionen Dollar Gewinn, verglichen mit 2,1 Millionen im Vorjahr. F\u00fcr Le Mans Ultimate sind ab September neue Inhalte der European Le Mans Series geplant, gefolgt von einem Singleplayer-Karrieremodus und Konsolenversionen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mit der kompletten \u00dcbernahme hat Motorsport Games jetzt die volle Kontrolle \u00fcber eine Technologie, die nicht nur Le Mans Ultimate antreibt, sondern auch rFactor 2 und F1 Arcade.
