Animal Crossing: New Horizons Gets a Festivale Update This Week

The latest Animal Crossing: New Horizons update will launch on Jan. 28, and it focuses on Festivale (aka Mardi Gras). Festivale doesn’t start until Feb. 15, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get started with the update’s newest activities later this week. This news comes by way of a trailer from Nintendo, which you can check out below.

Fall Guys Season 3.5 Will Feature 40 New Level Variations and More

Speaking of updates, Fall Guys will be entering Season 3.5 soon. The mid-season update will include a new stage, over 40 level variations, the Godzilla, Sonic, and Goose Game costumes (among others), and a lot more. Developer Mediatonic has done a fantastic job of supporting Fall Guys since it launched in 2020, and judging by the sheer size of season 3.5, that support seems to be continuing.

Over 19 Million Players Downloaded Star Wars Battlefront II from Epic Games Store for Free

Recently, Epic Games Store was giving away Star Wars Battlefront II to all players for free. The EA Star Wars Twitter account has since announced that over 19 million players downloaded Battlefront II as part of the promotion. So many players downloaded it via EGS that the game suffered from server issues due to the capacity of users attempting to log in. The promotion has since ended, so if you missed it, you’re out of luck.

Here’s a Look at Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection’s Modes and Features

Today, Nintendo and Capcom released a new trailer for Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection, focusing on the game’s weapons, modes, and features. The game will include multiple difficulty levels, new projectile weapons and magic, and a trial mode. Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection serves as a reboot of the Capcom series, with a healthy mix of new and old features. Check out the trailer below!

Kevin Hart Cast for the Borderlands Movie

Actor/comedian Kevin Hart has been cast in the upcoming Borderlands film, set to be directed by Eli Roth. Hart will play Roland in the film, an “ex-soldier turned mercenary.” As part of a press release (relayed by IGN), Roth said, “I’m thrilled to be working with Kevin. Borderlands is a different kind of role for him, and we are excited to thrill audiences with a side of Kevin they’ve never seen before. He’s going to be an amazing Roland.”

The film is still in development and does not have a release date at this time.
