It’s been yet another eventful day in the world of video games, so let’s dive in. Today, Ninja Theory announced that it will no longer be supporting Bleeding Edge, a new Marvel’s Avengers Hawkeye War Table was announced, the first Immortals Fenyx Rising DLC expansion dropped, and more. Marvel’s Avengers Hawkeye War Table Scheduled

Ahead of Hawkeye’s release, Marvel’s Avengers will be getting a new War Table showcase, featuring a deep dive on the new character. The War Table showcase will air on Feb. 16 and will also include more info on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S versions of Marvel’s Avengers. Hawkeye will join the game as the second playable character following Kate Bishop for free.

Immortals Fenyx Rising Demo Plus DLC1 Is Out Today

Ubisoft’s Immortals Fenyx Rising has gotten a free demo available for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 today. The demo’s release coincides with the launch of the A New God DLC, which is out today as part of the season pass. Many critics (including us) have compared Immortals to Breath of the Wild, though with a handful of differences. Below is a trailer for the game’s demo, giving you a taste for what to expect.

Nintendo eShop Sale Features Discounts on Dead Cells, BioShock, and Borderlands

This week’s Nintendo Switch eShop sale has discounts on a ton of heavy hitters like Dead Cells, BioShock: The Collection, Borderlands, NBA 2K21, and more. Do keep in mind that the titles on sale have various end dates, so be sure to check them individually. Many of the games are on sale until mid-February 2021, so you’ve got plenty of time to save.

Sea of Thieves Season One Starts Today

The first season of Sea of Thieves has launched today, and it comes with lots of additional content for players to enjoy. Season One includes a new progression system (similar to a battle pass), 100 levels of Renown and rewards, a Plunder Pass, a new Merchant Alliance Voyage type, and more. Ninja Theory’s Bleeding Edge Will No Longer Receive Updates

As announced via the game’s official Twitter account, Bleeding Edge will no longer receive updates from developer Ninja Theory. Bleeding Edge is a competitive online multiplayer game published by Microsoft that launched in 2020. Though the game will no longer be updated, it will still be playable across Xbox and PC for the time being. Ninja Theory will now focus on its current projects like Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II and Project: Mara.
