Here’s the video game news you might’ve missed on July 29, 2020.

Large Sekiro Update Will Come in October

Today, seemingly out of nowhere, FromSoftware announced new content for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. The free update is set to go live on Oct. 29 for all platforms. This update will include what is referred to as “Reflection of Strength / Gauntlet of Strength,” which will basically serve as a boss rush.

New costumes for the Wolf will also make an appearance, along with the equivalent of phantoms from the Dark Souls games that you can send to other players called Remnants. Check out more details below.

Sea of Thieves: Ashen Winds Update Includes New Content and Accessibility Options

The latest monthly update for Sea of Thieves is live and it’s called Ashen Winds, giving players more content and new accessibility options to enjoy. Fire is the theme for this update — and you’ll need to take down four formidable bosses to maximize your treasure. These challenging bosses will pose a threat, so make sure you bring a crew with you. Other new features include single-stick control, auto-center camera, and a slew of fixes.

Mario Kart Tour Gets Wild West Update

As part of Mario Kart Tour‘s new Wild West update, players will get to enjoy new characters Nabbit and Cowboy Wario, along with a new Nintendo 64-derived Kalimari Desert 2 course. This update is free and is available to download right now. The other noteworthy addition comes with the update’s trailer. There may be a tease for King Bob-omb as a playable character, whom many are expecting to be available soon.

New Super Lucky’s Tale Will Launch on PS4 and Xbox One Next Month

New Super Lucky’s Tale is making its way to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Aug. 21, as revealed by the game’s developer on Twitter. This expanded version of Super Lucky’s Tale, which was previously exclusive to the Nintendo Switch, will now be headed to other platforms, giving more players a chance to try it out.

This game’s history is a bit confusing, as the original Super Lucky’s Tale was a PC and Xbox One exclusive, but it was followed by the then-Switch exclusive New Super Lucky’s Tale, featuring additional content. Bottom line: PS4 and Xbox One players will get the definitive version later next month.
