What’s new in Genshin Impact 5.8?

Besides the aforementioned codes that this live stream will bring with it, Genshin Impact’s Grand Summer Event is a big thing. We are getting our first-ever Genshin character from the Nod-Krai region – Ineffa (Electro).

Rumors abound that we may also finally get to explore the long-fabled region of Mare Jivari, but this is unconfirmed at this point in time.

Speaking of time, it also looks as though players are getting a new Time Skip feature finally that will allow them to, er, skip time and jump directly to the point a quest starts as well as its objective. Who needs that pesky waiting? It is so last year.

When is Genshin Impact 5.8 released?

Once the live stream is done and dusted, you only need to wait until July 30th for Genshin Impact 5.8 to drop.

This will be the last version of the game before it moves into version 6 – exciting times. Hopefully, we may get a teaser towards the end of the live stream to whet our appetites for that later in the year.
