With season 25, Apex Legends has introduced a new Recon Legend called Sparrow. His ability kit allows him to perform exceptionally well in solo queues while being a strong pick when playing as a team.
Respawn hasn’t added a new Legend in quite some time, but with a full-scale Battle Royale overhaul on the way, Sparrow’s arrival feels perfectly timed. As a fresh Legend, this character shakes up the meta and the roster by adding more variety.

| Double Jump | Passive | Pressing the jump button while in the air will cause Sparrow to jump again. If you’re climbing a wall, press jump to gain height quickly. Can carry additional arrows for the Bocek. |
| Tracker Dart | Tactical | Shoot a tracker from your gauntlet to reveal enemies within its line of sight. Tracker darts can be placed on any surface, and enemies revealed by these darts have a small trail that can be seen through walls. These darts can also be used to activate Survey Beacons from afar. |
| Stinger Bolt | Ultimate | Shoot a large arrow that anchors itself where it lands. It gains charge over time, and when fully charged, it shocks anyone caught in the radius, damaging and slowing them for a short duration. The only way to escape from this ability is if you take cover or manage to leave the area. |
Sparrow’s skill kit is a lot like Sova from Valorant, and if used effectively, this Legend can be extremely annoying to play against in Apex Legends.
All Sparrow Legend Upgrades
Sparrow gets two levels of upgrades, which are as follows:
Upgrades: Level 2
- Extra Traps: gain an additional Tactical charge and +2 traps in world.
- Hunt Target: Sparrow gains a speed boost when running towards a marked enemy.
Upgrades: Level 3
- Alternate Mode: Sparrow’s Ultimate now has 3 charges that fire fewer pulses in a smaller radius.
- Life Siphon: Sparrow’s health and shields are recovered if enemies are damaged by his Ultimate.
Despite the recon skill kit, Sparrow isn’t tailored for an aggressive playstyle. If you’re playing with this Legend, you’ll have to adopt the role of a scout and can easily ambush the enemy by locking down a position.
