Fortnite Item Shop Schedule: Daily Inventory Reset Time Explained

With the amount of skins and cosmetics in its inventory, it’s no surprise that Epic Games has a daily reset time for the Fortnite Item Shop. With each reset, old cosmetics are taken out of rotation while fresh ones are added. 

Most of the cosmetics you see in the Item Shop can be purchased for V-Bucks. There are also a few real money transaction items available, but their number is limited. 

When Does the Item Shop Refresh in Fortnite?

The Item Shop refreshes at 00:00 UTC every day, and Epic Games has been following this schedule ever since it was introduced. To calculate the time for your region, you just need to figure out how many hours ahead or behind you are from GMT, and then add that to the time mentioned above. 

For example, if you follow Pacific Time, then the Item Shop will refresh at 5 PM your time every day. The same applies to every single timezone around the globe, since this refresh is a global one. 

If you’re still confused about the refresh time, then all you need to do is head to the Fortnite Item Shop, and click on the “Shop Refresh Info” button in the bottom right corner of your screen. This should provide you with all the information you need. 

When Do Skins Leave the Fortnite Item Shop?

Almost every skin in the Item Shop stays for a specific duration. Each shop section also has a small timer that counts down till it resets. 

You can also check when these cosmetics leave the store by visiting the item page. There’s a section right at the bottom of the page that should tell you when the item is being removed. 

Usually, knowing the time of a cosmetic leaving the store should give you a fair idea of when you can expect new ones, especially if there’s a collaboration around the corner.
