Fortnite Party Up Celestial Strike Event Start Date, Rewards, More

Fortnite has a habit of handing out free rewards, and the Party Up Celestial Strike event is a proof of that behavior.

Much like most of the in-game events, this one also emphasizes on you teaming up with your friends to earn a free skin. Unlike Call of Duty Warzone or even Apex Legends, Fortnite brings the spotlight back to enjoying games with your friends, through various events such as these. It also captures the game’s free to play nature, because you don’t need to own the Star Wars Battle Pass to earn the event rewards.

Party Up Celestial Strike Event Start and End Date

The Party Up Celestial Strike event starts on May 23, and will continue until June 7, which is the day the Fortnite Galactic Battle Season ends. Over these few days, you’ll need to team up with your friends and play matches across the different modes to have a chance at unlocking a free Iridia Vayne outfit.

While these events are usually tied to seasons, there’s a chance that Epic might consider extending it if their service is affected by network outage, causing the game servers to stay down for prolonged periods. We’ll update this piece in case the event is extended.

How to Get the Iridia Vayne Skin for Free in Fortnite?

To get the Iridia Vayne skin for free, you’ll need to participate in the Party Up Celestial Strike event with your friends. Starting May 23, Epic will release a new quest everyday until May 31. You can either complete one quest each day, or you can wait for all the quests to release and then attempt them in one go.

The last quest in the Party Up Celestial Strike event releases on May 31, so you’ll have time until June 7 to complete all of them anyway. Fortnite‘s quests are generally very straightforward, so if you’re having difficulty gathering players to run these challenges, wait till all of them are out, fix a date, and then push for them in one go. You will likely need a few matches to complete all of them but you can do them in one sitting.
