Fortnite Star Wars Galactic Battle Weapons Tier List: Best Guns, Ranked

With Fortnite Star Wars Galactic Battle, Epic introduced a new set of weapons that work on cooldowns, and a tier list is the best way to classify them. 

These weapons are all available as a part of the regular loot pool, and in a battle royale, picking up the weakest weapon is better than having no gun at all. This ranked list will help you identify the weapons you need to choose and those you need to stay away from while going up against the First Order in the Galactic Battle Season. 

Fortnite Star Wars Galactic Battle Weapons Tier List

Lightsabers are excluded from this list because abilities aren’t tied to the weapons in Fortnite. Since each ability has distinct uses and power levels, and they aren’t weapons themselves, they aren’t included.

Fortnite Gun Tier List

S Tier

The weapons in this list are the absolute best you should pick up whenever you get the chance. Pairing the DC-15 Heavy with the IQA-11 Marksman Rifle is the easiest way to pick up a Victory Royale. The former mimics an AR and is effective at mid-range, while the latter can help you easily pick off targets at long range. Throw the ACP Scatter in the mix, and you’ll dominate every close encounter, especially if you’re boxed in with the enemy in Fortnite. 

A Tier

Every weapon you see in this tier has a fast rate of fire and a good damage output. For example, the FD11 or the DLT-19 are perfect for a run-and-gun playstyle and can be used to lay down suppressing fire on the enemy. The CR2 SMG shreds enemies in close to medium range, too.  However, since movement gets restricted towards the final zones, you might find it a bit difficult to spray the enemy with these weapons, so you’ll have to switch to more accurate weapons. 

B Tier

There’s just one weapon in this tier, and it’s got the lowest DPS of all the rifles in Fortnite Star Wars Galactic Battle. It’s decent during the early stages of the battle royale, but it’s best to swap to any weapon mentioned on the list above. It’s fine during the initial zone, but after that, surviving players are bound to have stronger weapons than you, so you will become an easier target. Even the Phasma Medallion isn’t enough to make it a weapon worth carrying into the endgame.

C Tier

The BARM ST-1 and  DL44 Pistol are weapons you absolutely need to stay away from. Although the BARM ST-1 is a shotgun, it’s still bad because it doesn’t pack a punch like the ACP Scatter, and the DL44 Pistol doesn’t have enough power at all. It’s effective at close range but doesn’t deal enough damage. It’s one weapon that you should avoid at all costs.
