The Mechanic FPS Trailer Shootout Winners Announced

The Mechanic FPS Trailer Shootout had community members voting on their favorite game trailers. At the end, one trailer was crowed the best and a lucky community member won a HDTV.

Arthur Bishop (Jason Statham) is a "mechanic" - an elite assassin with a strict code and unique talent for cleanly eliminating targets. It's a job that requires professional perfection and total detachment, and Bishop is the best in the business. But when his mentor and friend Harry (Donald Sutherland) is murdered, Bishop is anything but detached. His next assignment is self imposed - he wants those responsible dead. His mission grows complicated when Harry's son Steve (Ben Foster) approaches him with the same vengeful goal and a determination to learn Bishop's trade. Bishop has always acted alone but he can't turn his back on Harry's son. A methodical hit man takes an impulsive student deep into his world and a deadly partnership is born. But while in pursuit of the ultimate mark, deceptions threaten to surface and those hired to fix problems become problems themselves.

For a week, the community voted on which upcoming FPS trailer was their favorite. When the dust cleared and everyone was out of ammo, BioShock Infinite came through as the champ! Along with BioShock Infinite's win came some great prizes and the winners have been chosen! Congrats to Seerio who won a 37" HDTV and Azetheros, Kap6789 and Quakester who came away with 4 packs of tickets from Fandango.

Thank you to all the participants and remember, The Mechanic launches in theaters around the US tomorrow, so grab your tickets and get in on the thrill ride of 2011. To see more about The Mechanic head over to their main homepage by clicking here.

Daaaaaym, winning a TV would make anyone's day.

The Bioshock Infinite trailer is just incredible. I must have watched it a dozen times just to marvel at how beautifully done it is... and I haven't even played Bioshock.

I like this movie more now. It just seems like a neat way to advertise it.

I need to check out the Infinite trailer though. Been hearing all kinds of good things.

*Grumble grumble* Congrats! *grumble* haha

Seriously, congrats on the wins. Can't say I don't wish it was me!
