Beastfall Boots in Diablo 4 is a handy Rogue Unique and plays an important role in making a burst DPS build.
Although there are a lot of additional working components, if you’re looking to make this Unique work with the build you’re using, it does create a fun playstyle. If you want to create a build that works well in The Pit, the Beastfall Boots shouldn’t be the only Unique you use with your build. But, if you want to have fun in Nightmare Dungeons or even the Undercity, this is a fun Unique to experiment with.
Where to Find the Beastfall Boots in Diablo 4
It’s a Unique item, so there are multiple ways for you to acquire the Beastfall Boots while exploring the different regions in Sanctuary. One of the easiest ways is by Gambling boots at the Purveyor of Curiosities at any major town. You’ll need Murmuring Obols for this, but it’s the least difficult way to go about it.
If you choose this method, make sure you’re on Torment I or II because Uniques have a higher chance of dropping at this difficulty level. If you’re lucky enough, you might also receive a Mythic item.

Alternatively, you can open chests during Legion Events or in Nightmare Dungeons for a shot at this item. Helltides are also a potential source for the Beastfall Boots. However, to open Helltide Chests, you’ll need a lot of Cinders. So, stock up on as many Cinders as possible by farming the Blood Maiden activity and then open as many chests as possible.
Finally, if you’re looking for a way to target farm this item, the best way is to repeatedly farm the Beast in Ice Dungeon. Beastfall Boots are a part of its loot table in Diablo 4, so the chances of you getting them from here are higher compared to the other sources mentioned above.
What Do the Beastfall Boots do?
The official description of the Beastfall Boots reads, “When you cast an Ultimate skill, your next Core skill consumes all of your Energy and deals 0.25 – 0.75% increased damage per Energy consumed. Using a Cooldown restores 25 energy.”
Let’s assume that the roll on the Beastfall Boots gives you a 0.50% increased damage. So, to put some values to it, if you had 100 Resource when you use your Ultimate Skill, your next Core Skill cast will consume all 100 Resource points. For every Resource point consumed, your Core Skill will do an additional 0.5% damage; for 100 points, it’ll deal an additional 50% damage.
You’ll also get a refund of 25 Resource points whenever you use a skill with a cooldown. This creates a nice gameplay loop. But you’ll have to ensure that you have Aspects on your build that reduce your Ultimate cooldown because that plays a vital role if you want to use Beastfall Boots effectively.
The Deathtrap Rogue build is the best place to use Beastfall Boots, because that build focuses on traps and ensures that the Ultimate, the Deathtrap, has a high uptime in Diablo 4.
