No matter how much you try, the developers want you to remain environment-friendly and stay away from the trees at all costs.

How to Get An Axe in Tainted Grail Fall of Avalon

When you first get to the Horns of the South after you’ve completed the introductory segment, you’ll need to make your way to the castle to talk to Breandan. However, when you land at the beach, make your way across the northern road till you get to the Ruined Market Square.

There should be a dead body right in the middle of this area, and to the south of this body is a building where you’ll find a villager with an axe. Kill him and loot the axe.

Where to Find Wood in Tainted Grail Fall of Avalon

With the axe in hand, you’ll need to look for different lumbering stations. They appear as tree stumps planted in the ground. Each lumbering station has a pile of wooden logs lying beside it. Whenever you find one, simply walk up to it and interact with it. You’ll start chopping the wood and storing it in your inventory.

These lumbering stations are rare, so whenever you see one, make sure to stock up on as much wood as you can in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. After you’ve chopped wood at the block for a while, it’ll soon run out. Once that happens, you’ll have to wait for a few in-game days before you can use the station again. The easiest way to do so is by setting up a bonfire right beside the lumbering station, but you can wait only 24 hours at a stretch.

The first lumbering station that you’ll find is at the castle, where you need to meet Breandan. You should find a lumbering station in the southwest corner of the city. Additionally, if you’re running out of wood, you can always buy some from your local blacksmith, but remember, you’ll have to shell out gold to stock up on this resource.
