How to Get Your Vehicle Unstuck in Roadcraft

From muddy terrain to waterlogged roads, here's how you can easily get your vehicle unstuck in Roadcraft using multiple tools.

When driving around your the world in Roadcraft, there’s always a chance that you’ll get stuck in the muddy terrain, and you’ll need to get it unstuck to progress with your missions.

Your job in the game is to repair and fix areas struck by natural disasters. You have a lot of vehicles to collect but not all of them work well across all terrains. And considering that the region’s been affected by natural disasters, you’re bound to get stuck once in a while, especially if you’re not using a car that’s tailored to handle the terrain.

How to Unstuck Any Vehicle in Roadcraft

No matter what the situation is, you must remember the three tools you have at your disposal, and using them effectively is key to helping you get unstuck. These tools are:

  • AWD: Pushes power to all four wheels of your vehicle.
  • Low Gear: Provides more torque, allowing you to accelerate quicker and avoid wheelspin.
  • Diff Lock: Locks the differential, preventing your cars’ wheels from slipping.

Depending on your situation, consider turning all of them on. For example, if you’re stuck in mud, then you need to ensure that you have AWD and Diff Lock enabled. Alternatively, if you’re entering waterlogged areas, and there’s a chance of your engine touching the water, switch to Low Gear because that will prevent water from flooding your engine.

If you’re encountering a combination of water and mud, you need to enable all three options to get out of the mess safely. You also have a winch that you can use to pull yourself out of sticky situations.

Getting unstuck in Roadcraft requires some creativity. But, if you use all the tools that you have properly, you won’t remain stuck for too long. Finally, if nothing works, then you can press the Recover button that appears on the top left corner of your screen. When you press this button, you’ll be teleported to your nearest base. However, you’ll lose all the progress that you’ve made too, so use it only when you’ve exhausted all your options.
