In Roadcraft, you’re tasked with rebuilding a disaster stricken area, and to do so, you’ll need a lot of vehicles at your disposal.
From setting up routes for your delivery vehicles, to scouting the land and getting your cars stuck, if you want to successfully rebuild an entire area, you’ll have to depend entirely upon your fleet. Since the game is highly realistic in how the vehicles react to the terrain, you’ll have to ensure you’ve got the right kind of car for the job.
How to Change Cars in Roadcraft
Your map is something that you’ll be using quite frequently, and it’s from this very window where you’ll be able to change your cars. When you launch the map, you’ll have three different tabs that you can select from. Highlight the “Vehicles” tab and you’ll find all the different vehicles that you’ve unlocked so far and can switch to in Roadcraft.

The vehicle that you’re in right now has a green highlight while the others have their regular icons with a marker for where you’ve left them. From here, you can either focus the camera on the vehicle and their surrounding areas, or you can choose to enter the vehicle. However, remember, that this choice won’t bring the car to your location in Roadcraft. Instead, you will teleport to where you left the car last, so be sure to not leave your vehicles unattended in random locations.
Additionally, before switching vehicles, check if you need more than one car to help you with whatever expedition you’re on. You can always tow a vehicle with you using your winch. So, if you need two vehicles for your next mission, hook it up to your truck with the winch and drive it along with you.
Yes, the journey will take slightly longer than what it would, if you’re driving just one car, but it’ll definitely save you the hassle later on. When you’re driving two vehicles, all you need to do is get out of one and switch to the other in Roadcraft. This removes the problem of sending you to a random area where you may have parked a car you needed.
