Injustice 3 with Watchmen Included Potentially Teased by BossLogic

An Injustice 3 game may have been teased for an official reveal soon. On Twitter, the artist known as BossLogic posted an image showing a logo for an alleged Injustice 3, or as it’s stylized, “Injustic3,” and it includes reference to the Watchmen franchise as well. BossLogic has done artwork for properties such as Street Fighter and most recently for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

NetherRealm Studios has yet to reveal the existence of a third game, but DC FanDome is coming up on Aug. 22, so an announcement could be present at the event. Interestingly enough, BossLogic already confirmed that he will be attending DC FanDome as well.

The image shows the picture of a clock, but what’s important is that there is a smiley face button towards the left. It is known as “the Button” or the “Comedian’s Badge,” worn by Edward Blake in Watchmen. This suggests that Watchmen characters would be playable in the next Injustice game.

We already know that Rocksteady Studios is planning to unveil its new Suicide Squad game, reportedly called Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, at the DC FanDome event on Aug. 22. It would certainly make sense for NetherRealm to also announce an Injustice 3 game as well, hopefully along with information such as confirmed platforms and a release window.
